About us

Who we are

We love creative projects which take us into new spaces, supported by a strong experience in our fields of medicine, yoga, visual arts and sound. We hand-crafted every detail of our app. We are colleagues and we are friends, and we came together because we believe in what this app can do.

OUR MISSION

In a world, where the stress and app industries have given birth to a multitude of meditation apps, how do we choose the right fit for us? We all express stress in different ways. Some can’t sleep, others experience anxiety, some have high blood pressure, and for others it may be more subtle. Breath Taking was born from the realisation that there is no one practice to fit all. We wanted to create a practice, accessible to all, founded on the principles of Yoga. We all have a different breath length, we all connect to sounds and voice in a different way. The Breath Taking team has meditated, skyped and coded for hours to come up with a way to customise this experience for you, to give you the best chance of achieving a positive result.

Patrick Amori

Marketing

Based in New York, Patrick helped the National Geographic app hit #1 and is helping us find our voice to a massive audience who now need to hear something 12 times or more before they take action. That’s about 8 times more than what we needed to say in the 90’s. Are you still with us, or have we lost your one minute focus of attention in the app world already?

From i-DEA to i-STORE

If you’re interested in the story of how an app is created from nothing to launch, Baxter tells the story here in a “Pecha Kucha” format  in Taos,  New Mexico. It’s a great concept of having 20 slides and only 20 seconds to speak about each one. That makes it 6m40 altogether, so we don’t expect you to watch it, but you can if you like. Especially if you’re inspired to do create something you have no idea about.

“We would like to thank…”
